How much are you owed?

Three quick questions and we will show you what you are entitled to under EU or UK law, down to the rand that lands in your account. The amount is fixed by law and based on distance, not on what you paid for the ticket.

Compensation amounts are set by EU Regulation EC 261/2004 or UK Regulation 261/2004 (UK261) and are payable per passenger. In some limited circumstances, such as where the airline provided an alternative flight arriving within a defined time window, the entitlement may be reduced by 50%. Our team will confirm your exact entitlement when we review your claim. Rand figures are illustrative: check the live rate at the time of payout.

How Flightremedy works

Four steps. You do one of them.

  • 01

    Tell us about your flight

Enter your flight number, route, and the date of the disruption. Our team assesses whether your flight qualifies under EU Regulation EC 261/2004 or UK Regulation 261/2004 (UK261). It takes under 5 minutes.

  • 02

    Sign your Claim Assignment

You transfer the claim to Flightremedy by signing a digital Claim Assignment. This means you never have to contact the airline yourself.

  • 03

    We handle everything

We write to the airline, push back on any rejection, and escalate to the relevant regulatory authority or court if necessary. All costs are ours to bear.

  • 04

    You receive your money

When the airline pays us, you receive 70% of the compensation in full to your bank account. Our fee is the remaining 30%, charged only on success.

    Why Flightremedy exists

I spent years working inside the Online Travel Agency industry, watching passengers get disrupted and walk away with nothing. Not because they had no right to compensation. Because no one made it easy enough to claim it.

Airlines have known for twenty years that most passengers will not pursue what they are owed. The process is unfamiliar, the rejections are discouraging, and the legal framework is genuinely complex if you have never navigated it before. That inaction is worth hundreds of millions of euros to airlines every year.

Flightremedy exists to close that gap. We handle every step, we charge nothing unless we win, and we tell you exactly what we charge before you sign anything. That is the entire model.

    No win, no fee

You pay nothing upfront and nothing if your claim is unsuccessful. Our 30% fee is only ever charged when we recover compensation for your claim.

    30% transparent fee

Our fee is 30% of the compensation recovered. It is shown to you before you sign anything. There are no hidden charges, administration fees, or surprise deductions.

    EU261 & UK261 apply to you

You do not need to be an EU or UK citizen or resident. If your flight departed from a European or UK airport on any airline, or if it arrived into a European or UK airport on a European or UK-based carrier from anywhere in the world including South Africa, you are covered regardless of your nationality or country of residence.

    Direct bank transfer

When your claim succeeds, the net compensation is transferred directly to your bank account. You do not receive a voucher, travel credit, or points.

    What Flightremedy charges, and when

Our service is entirely free to use unless we recover compensation for you.

When we are successful, our fee is 30% of the compensation recovered, converted to rand. The rest, in full, is transferred to you. See the exact breakdown for your route in the table above.

If we pursue your claim through every available channel, including escalation to a national enforcement body or court proceedings, and we are ultimately unsuccessful, you are charged nothing. Not for our time, not for legal costs, not for any administrative step. Zero. This is our guarantee.

The fee structure is confirmed to you in writing before you sign your Claim Assignment. You will never be surprised by what Flightremedy charges.
